Many interpreters

A great concert in homage to the personality and the work of leading composer Mikis Theodorakis will be organised together by the E.L.M.E. Thessalonica, the Didaskaliki Associations and the teacher of the Aristotelian University on Monday 10 April 2006, in Thessalonica.
Interpreters, mainly from Thessalonica, as well as important personalities of music and song as well as the Popular Orchestra will take part in the concert.
The musical performances will be accompanied by recitations of poems by M. Theodorakis and projections of pictures from great moments of his life and his concerts, while excerpts of Theodorakis’s works will be performed by classical and modern ballet.
The income from the concert will be been given as an aid to voluntary school of Greek language "Odysseus" in Thessalonica and a school in the N. Albania.
The interpreters that will take part are in alphabetical order: Pandelis Theocharidis, Lizeta Kalimeri, Panagiotis Karadimitris, Andreas Karakotas, Nikos Katsikas, Thomas Korovinis, Maria Koujioumtzi, Sotiria Leonardou, Yannis Mitsis, Sotiris Ballas, Dimitris Nikoloudis, Kostas Pratsinakis, Vasilis Pratsinakis, Dimitris Pratsinakis, Manolis Rasoulis, Anthi Tatsiouli, Maria Fotiou, Manolis Hatzimanolis. Accompanies the Popular Orchestra with maestro the Michalis Piperko
Participation: Municipality Dance Company Kalamarias, Chorus Thermaikou. Recitations by the actor Anna Sitaridou.
