Dear Participants,
I would like to thank you for your generous attendance at the Symposium entitled «Music and Universal Harmony», organized in Heraklion, Crete (10-11 March, 2006) by our Department, the Department of Philosophy and Social Studies, School of Philosophy, University of Crete.
The participation of such distinguished scientists from Greece and from many other countries, who accepted willingly to speak in this Symposium and to share with us their ideas and research for this «prototypal» topic, I believe, guaranties a high level discussion that may agitate the - unfortunately - stagnant spirit of our era.
