The internationally renowned Greek contralto Agnes Baltsa, who has sung major lyric theatres in the world under the baton of leading conductors, returns for the first time in 25 years to Greece to give a concert with a purely Greek programme under the direction and orchestration by Stavros Xarchakos to the Athenian audience.
In this unique concert entitled “The songs of my country” which will happen on 15 September, 9.00 pm at Irodion, Ms Baltsa sings compositions by Vassilis Tsitsanis, Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis and Stavros Xarchakos.
