"Axion Esti" will be presented on 26 August 2006 with the Popular Orchestra "Mikis Theodorakis" in the frame of the Prespes Festival 2006.
During a Press Conference, Margarita Theodorakis speaking for her father, told that "Axion Esti" is a work that has always fought against war, that it is "a work that comes out from the war and fights for life and for peace". In conclusion, she showed photographs of children of Lebanon, "that are sacrificed while we perform 'Axion Esti'", and she characterized Israel as "criminal".
