At the end of a brilliant concert by Nena Venetsanou and her musicians, Ioannis Iodomeneo and Elena Mozualas, in honour of Mikis Theodorakis, the organizers were pleased to announce that the world renowned Greek composer during a special ceremony which will be held at the French Embassy in Athens on May 17, will be honoured with the highest distinction of France to foreign personalities for their contribution to arts, culture and science.: *Commandeur de la Légion d'Honneur".
French European Affairs Minister Catherine Colonna, who will come to Greece for this purpose, will award to Theodorakis the distinction for his great contribution to our common European culture.
