AFP - Mikis Theodorakis, has been readmitted to hospital with complications following his gall bladder operation.
Theodorakis, 79, had his gall bladder removed in Athens' Evangelismos hospital earlier in the week and was released on Friday.
But he had to go in again because of intestinal problems resulting from the surgery, a hospital official said.
As his doctors told on Sunday noon, Theodorakis's condition is stable, however he has "still to remain some days in hospital for observation and treatment".
23.08.04: This morning, the doctors declared that they appreciate that Mikis Theodorakis will still remain for several days in the hospital Evangelismos. They say that they are satisfied with the development of his health and optimistic for it.
